If you want to be close minded, that is your choice. I will not respond to @nro's post because it is showing clear grammar & punctuation errors, spelling errors, word misuse, logic/clarity errors and formatting errors. This makes it completely nonsensical and I believe it was intended to be so.

I will state clearly that we have a court of appeals which is in place to provide the opportunity for justice when the courts have failed. In this case the courts have failed and Greg Barnes was acquitted on appeal.

I am a logical person that has no current concern either way in matters relating to ETM. I was simply here to read up and gather knowledge on related stories regarding ETM from the last few years. I was close to investing in 2021 but refrained myself.

Again, if you want to be close minded, it is your choice. I will post a link to the article that explains how Greg Barnes was acquitted. Justice Macfarlan stated clearly that on the evidence before it, “it was not open to a jury to conclude . . . [Mr Barnes] knew the report made any . . . false or misleading representations".

On a side note, when someone tends to "waffle on" like nro's post, speaking in a weak or indecisive way, it can be a sign of lying because it often reveals a lack of confidence or a hesitation in providing a clear and consistent answer. Furthermore you should always be wary of people who post in only one company's forum threads as it shows a clear agenda. Most retail investors invest in many shares, not just one. Finally, the fact nro does not respond to the question "are you currently paid by ETM" is very concerning.
