Tell me if this makes sense to you. China is consuming around 13 million tons of copper in 2021 and it has Approximately 2 million tonnes of copper in reserve. Chinas latest parcel only dripped out 30,000 tonnes of copper which is minuscule in comparison to its actual consumption and what it has in reserves.
China selling 30,000 tonnes each month or 360,000 tonnes for the year would only equate to 18% of its Reserves or 2.77% of what it is estimated to consume this year.
Keep in mind China has only sold 4 batches so far this year which is nothing in comparison to its consumption vs reserves.
