One thing to add to Mr lowe's credibility meter is they did say there was no chance of rates rising before 2024.... well that little faux pas might just cost some people their homes. (granted if they were relying on that fine a margin they shouldn't have been buying anyway).
The point being though that the reserve bank like the Fed will do and say things they don't agree with or can't follow through with if it gets the market manipulation they want.
I'm of the we aren't done with damage mode yet camp (not CYM specific, im talking macro level). I think we might see a bounce from here then another leg down later in the year before finding a bottom.
Either way CYM looking good for the future so if i have a chance to average down some more and have some funds i will be doing it.
