For most punters it's a psychological thing, they want confirmation, the more good news posts that appear the more it feeds upon itself.

Reality is that an overwhelming majority of micro cap and small cap miners end up going nowhere, many go broke. One in twenty will get to the mining stage and even that doesn't guarantee a profit! ... most will be pumped and dumped, day traded and suck cash out of investors (if that's what you want to call them) pockets. I'm in the camp that believes in Nifty but management have overseen this go from low 30's to 6's and that puts them in a group with horrible speccies, all promise and no substance, and I don't think CYM are that.

DYOR isn't really understood because herd mentality takes over!.
