I was in your camp with the CR but acknowledged that I was wrong. After no raise for so long it became clear they had enough cash to muddle through ... I agree that costs will have gone up and I've used US$3.20 and not the US$2.82 and I agree that finance costs will have gone up. I've argued this too and I have used a much higher rate than the ridiculous 'less than 10%' argued on here.

I've also included depreciation as a result of having a stab at the value of the assets, I've included a tax rate at much higher than they will surely pay.

The two standouts that make a HUGE difference to the profitibality aren't a percentage or two here or there but ... drum roll ... Cu price and production volume. Who'd have thunk it?

Maybe you could run up some figures and you might see why Baz said "we couldn't kill it"

All this exhuberance is warranted because the Cu price rising makes Nifty very attractive.
