The easy answer would probably be do your research. Find a project you believe in and that has great potential. Consider the upside and downside versus the risk. If you come to the conclusion the reward outweighs the risk, decide how much you are willing to invest.
Keep an eye on the announcements,but as long as nothing significant changes, and progress is made hold!
Unless it directly impacts the chance of succes, don't concern yourself with the share price.
