I think I finally have a full grasp of CYM so I figured I would share my thoughts. As Barry explained in the presentation the other day, they plan to have 4 leech pads for the 4 different types of ores.



Oxides: Malachite / Azurite / Native Copper / Cuprite
Nifty has already well proven it can leech oxides with over 200k tons processed. So not much needs to be said here.

Sulphides like Chalcocite.
If we look at some of the past Anns of FND we can see CYM has proven they can leech Sulphides commercially.



We can see FND was making good $$$ heap leeching Sulphides. We can also see the type of Sulphides at one of the mines of FND was primarily Chalcocite and Chalcopyrite. Which would explain why Barry appears to be so confident in being able to leech these types of ores.




Then we have the metallurgy work at Hollandaire








So I think Nifty / Cym have already somewhat proven they can leech oxides and sulphides which is what the mine will be processing in the first few years. By the time they get to the transitional layer CYM could be producing from Nanadie and Hollandaire.




When we start getting deeper down to the transitional layer it looks like we hit pyrite and chalcopyrite "The Holy Grail"
If we look at some old FND Anns we can see that CYM has already leeched pyrite successfully.



So in conclusion when reviewing FND Anns I think its clear Barry and the team have already dealt with Chalcopyrite and have had years to ponder how to successfully leech it. Which shows in Barry's confidence and how the team is striving to accomplishing the tasks at hand and really want to just "get stuck in to producing copper plate."

Still early days and there is always risks. However, I think if Barry and the team accomplish what they are trying to then CYM will become a multibillion $ company in a few years.
