I wonder if this info can be used for a new patent for ATH434. I do not think corresponding info was used when the first patent was granted years ago. There is more specific info about why ATH434 works in PD and MSA ( or could work ? still ?) and the other iron chelators do not. ATH has also developed many related molecules having similar or even better efficacy than ATH434.
