thats exactly what would have happened. a plan in the making starting about 12-18 months before. im 100% certain this is what went down. the asx is so slack when it comes to checking announcements. when you have been burnt as many times as i have then you know when you read the asx releases that some are written by dodgy pricks. i keep harping about cvi but they came out with a doozy in 2007 about a 2 billion dollar investment by some rich angolan bloke. cvi raised 30-50 million on this news and the cash was gone out of the company in a couple months to pay for some tenements in angola. they had oil refineries planned , diamond mines , u name it they had it in the pipeline. the asx didnt give a rats ass about what they promised or where all the cash went they just let it all unfold. lesson here for newbies dont believe anything you read in the minnow space from the asx or think the asx/asic care about retail holders.
