Great to see such confidence and optimism!
In an ideal world where the oil price was higher and the JV was more free to do just what they really wanted (unconstrained by funds and the market environment) I reckon that after looking at all the data the JV would decide to drill a serious step-out well to the east in the adjacent Sangomar block to see how far this field stretches east (it can't extend further west off the shelf). They did 3D seismic over this adjacent block and also into Differje ... wouldn't it be great if the field went through Sangomar and into Differje!!??
The other thing that would be done in an ideal world would obviously be further appraisal on the FAN discovery ... the upside there is also huge.
In the world we are in though they will most likely drill at least one more appraisal on SNE first to confirm connectivity so that they can move forward with development. From what they have said to date that well would most likely be within the core area of the field rather than being a step out test.
