Sabre, Ben Russell is NOT the UK. He's a political journo who writes for the Independent and, the whole paper is never afraid to criticise the UK govern't if it sees that it is appropriate to do so. This article is a perfect example of someone -British or Chechneyan- trying to deliver strong enough pressure upon arms manufacturers to stop making cluster bombs. Personally, I also think similarly but I am realistic enough to know that if not these bombs then there will be (or already are) other types of post-conflict killers. Choking the air with depleted uranium is but one such weapon.
