    Johntie's points are much more logical than yours. Someone receiving free shares, a free carry, and a $600K salary will react differently to an 80% loss in wealth compared to an average mum-and-dad investor. Most of us aren't earning $600K or receiving performance shares, so it's important to consider diverse perspectives. Anyone with a bit of common sense would agree with Johntie's reasoning.
