The problem here is firstly many aboriginals have been victims in the past, this means to intergenerational wealth and probably worse education as parents uneducated… the problem here is what percentage are actually victims

then th e next problem is what happens if yuu oku treat someone constantly as a victim, it’s well known it creates bad outcomes

so one one hand are people banging on all the time about them being victims( if have to put you in this basket sorry), on the other side is people who think they aren’t victims as things hat happened to them long ago shouldn’t matter

the issue is h th at both things come into play but we’ve got extreme arguments at both ends, what needs to be said is yes we understand you have had to work harder and have been oppressed etc and society is hally ro give you a leg up for this. Society also expect you to help yourself and to make he lost of the opportunities afforded to you because of predicament ie you can’t help those who won’t help themselves
