isnt buddhism all about suffering and how to get freedom from it? how is that so different from my earlier statement that our motivation is to avoid pain(suffering isnt pain perhaps?? makes no sense).Maybe there are different paths grasshopper.

As buddha himself said "I have taught one thing, and one thing only, dukkha and the cessation of dukkha."
