Most muslims (or anyone for that matter) immigrate to Australia for a chance at a better life for themselves and their families. Australia has a very high standard of living, outstanding healthcare & education systems, a stable political system and opportunities to prosper financially everywhere. It's a place where a person can stop worrying about whether they'll live to see tomorrow and instead focus on building a future.

However, there's a saying ...

"You can take the boy out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the boy!"

This saying rings true especially for some (not all) misguided young muslim men who become bored with Australia's peaceful status quo and like most young men, when the testosterone is flowing we want to make our mark on the world. Unfortunately, when you come from a country filled with violence, death and destruction, and your ignorant young brain is filled with propaganda from a charismatic cleric seeking to advanced the agenda of his religious cult, the outcome is inevitably a violent one.

We're all to blame folks. We've created this world collectively.

Some like to build walls and defend their ignorance to the death. Some stick their head in the sand until they get bitten on the ass. But some of us have the sensibility to see through the veil of bullshit and realise that the current state of the world is a product of our own doing.
