rickh - you're looking at things from an individual perspective. Of course you didn't create extreme, violent people, however there is no 'I' in team. This phenomenon is a societal problem. It's much bigger than you or I.
But in answer to you question, from an individual perspective we're all quietly complicit on some level. The Germans weren't all bad people, however they didn't do much to stop the Nazi's during WWII did they?
