Hi ,

I consider myself an atheist , yet I am not ill informed about christianity and 'god'.

I have had 2 narrow squeeks and avoided death by the narrowest of margins. Once when a fully laden log truck ended up on my car , and another was a high speed head on where I climbed out unscathed.

I have a few times asked myself , if I knew I was going to die , would I 'pray to my maker' , so to speak.

Upon reflection , my 'narrow squeeks' were over and done in seconds , and I basically had no time to react or 'pray'.

So , the answer to my own question is .... I don't know.

I have not been in the position to know I was going to die , and I will monitor the situation when it arises , and get back to you ... maybe.
