I am a retired teacher and the last 3 student teachers I had were qualified lawyers who wanted to get out of the high pressure legal office and become teachers. Not one completed their practical teaching indenture and returned to the respective careers. I know that most jobs carry stress but this job has changed enormously since we all went to school and with the political numnuts changing every aspect of a teachers job , teachers have no say in the changes and really just want to teach and not have days off at pointless seminars conducted by idiots who were once teachers and now become parasites on the education system.
