@Scott th Ratbag - I have to point out, this is an article I picked up from The New York Times and it is by David Brooks a Republican who is critical of Trump. In my world view, he is not extreme enough - I don't think religion has the power any more to make us behave, we have to find better principles of interacting with fellow humans - the principles are simple humanitarian once, but it seems humans can't get away without 'organising' anything into a body corporate of sorts, and eventually a church. I am against churches (or mosques!), they have caused enough damage to humans and societies - maybe they were necessary once, but lately they are into power and sucking money from the State (and their followers), they no longer have what I like to call 'a moral compass'!

I'd like to hang on long enough to see how the world is coping with all the problems we have caused, but I believe in Happy Endings!
