Yes, McGordon Lazarus has died...esoterically speaking he had died to his old self and Jesus had gone to awaken him from sleep. The sleep refers to the previous state of consciousness. Lazarus is "born again" to himself. He has passed through initiation to attain a higher grade as all humanity is destined to eventually do. This also includes the likes of Hitler so it will take many aeons to achieve for all.

There are many initiations along the way to emancipation from this world, but it has been said there are six major gates through which we need pass before moving on to another plane of existence from which to continue the journey.
