steviek, this is the way I see it. We are now heavily dependent on China, we weathered the GFC thanks to them and to the surplus left to us by Costello. We now have a significant debt but I do accept it is not as badd as lots of others but that does not make it good. I think we should get the debt down because of Chinna. When China enters stormy waters, whicch it will some day, it will be a monster to which we are tied. If that happens while we have significant debt we may do very badly, if we have no debt we will be in a much better position.
The sooner we reduce debt the better with regard to China. I keep remembering those 60 million empty apartmentts that must be financed, that have been financed somehow. I think that is a threat to China.
