    EuroTravelLover - you might have missed my post where I said I understand the point you made.

    As I said, after reading your initial post, I now realise there is little difficulty and that I won't lose interest over the time period.

    And my broker (Etrade) requires funds in the account before buying shares, which fact suits me fine. But I can still deposit funds in the second account, buy shares and not lose interest while waiting for the buy and sell trades in the two different account to come into effect.

    I won't write any more on this - it seems that I am unable to express myself in a way that readers can comprehend - my fault entirely and my apologies.

    Nevertheless I am grateful to all those who responded and am satisfied that the transactions I want to do can be performed without loss to me. Thanks, everyone.
