Hi rose2004 on this I share your sentiments. Just speculating but I imagine a lot of HC males are seniors like myself, and some are stuck back in the days when men tended to patronise women. We now have women as company CEO's and in just about every field of endeavour.

Women are rightly much more independant now and some men cant handle that.

My mother bless her, who is not far off 100 has seen many phases and changes during her life and she lived most of it as the traditional home person. I know that what gives her the greatest comfort in the final stage of her life is the fact that her daughter received a University education that provided her with choices and independence that she never had. She is thrilled for the opportunities available to all her children and grandchildren but she takes greatest comfort from the fact that her grandaughters have choices in terms of careers and lifestyle. She realises that women have progressed towards achieving their rightful equal place in society.
