fwp, I don't think Mr GZ allows Mrs. GZ to have any thoughts. She's restricted to nurturing and caring for Mr GZ and his male issue. Having thoughts is men's domain only. In GZ's world, females aren't capable of independent thought.
(If she stuck around, my guess is that she got so used to acting the part just to survive, that he'd never figure out what she was thinking in a million years.)
