Ok ... an attempt to get this thread back on track.
Perhaps 10 yrs ago my thinking in terms of global political leaders was that overly aggressive men were making a real mess and that some female perspective on a multitude of global concerns would be a good thing.
Here in Australia, I have to say I am disappointed with the efforts of Keneally, Bligh and Gillard. However, I also believe this reflects on them as people, not their gender.
I still hold the view that global politics is too dominated by men making a cliced mash of it ... we could do a lot worse than pray for some powerful visionary women to introduce a change of emphasis and perspective imo.
Those women wont be effective imo if they aspire to be men.
