I wonder if John Kinghorn is involved somehow. He holds a large holding in AFG which he does not appear to have sold down at all. He would surely be interested in protecting his investment and would be someone who had the financial means to help. That could mean any of:
1) lending money to the group
2) being involved in a buyout
3) injecting some equity.
