This not a crack at you. Everyone falls into the trap. Then there's a redundancy, or poor performance review, or you find out the bloke who just started is on more money than you, even though you've been busting your arse for years and the boss has been telling you how much they appreciate what you're doing.

End of the day you're just a resource to be used up, until you're no longer needed.

If you're lucky enough to earn more from your investments than your expenses, then you're truly wealthy, matter how much you actually have.
