    Hi Michael,

I've looked at the ETF's from Betashares, Ishares, State Street Global Advisors and
Vanguard. Most are not what I'm after.

The only one suitable seems iShares S&P Global Consumer Staples IXI

I'm looking to have my investments spread for the long term over the sectors that will do well with a situation of ongoing oil price shocks and high inflation.

    ETF's in the US like:
    XLB for Materials
    XLU for Utilities
PBW and PKN for Alt energy
    XLE for trad energy

    are not available here...

I'm pretty new to investing. Does anyone have any advice on other ways to get diversified across a sector in the ASX?
