I agree with you some what.
Royalties could be short term gain but could cause long term pain.
MNS are currently in numerous negotiations that I am not privileged too... So maybe there could be some IP royalties... but as great as royalties from licensing out our IP could be short term it would also mean that MNS would loose its competitive advantage in the battery space. It would be rather difficult to convince big players to join us in partnership with future battery plants if we have given right to other for our IP.
If there is a way to keep 100% control of our IP by signing major car manufacturers to join us in developing battery plants that would be a far better strategy long term.
Signing deals with large auto manufacturers takes time... but it seems we are getting closer and closer to some really interesting announcements.
