anything could be the problem
for example i just bought a really high spec win 7 machine and it also crashes - but i think i have now narrowed down the problem to being the video card, its driver or a problem with Windows GDI+ - I am running 64 bit windows 7
it only crashes when running games/high performance graphics applications
