Yer not trying to ramp MSY but they dont try to take you for a ride like everyone else, thats all.
Although you dont use the computer for gaming, its best to build a gaming computer. I am a gamer and I think gaming computers are generally 2nd best to 3d programming computers. They are fast and can handle any pressures any program a normal trader would use.
Back to your computer problems, I am not too sure what it can be. I was under the impression that if something was wrong with the RAM, it had the ability to constantly crash the computer and not let it run at all. My old laptop had overheating issues as the fan died and the crash would just reset the computer. So basing off that I would check that. If you wanted to, just get a steamer thing and take off the sticker, open it up and go through the ideas people have. Then get some glue when your done and put it back on the sticker so you dont void the warranty.
