just had daily crash - lucky i saved excel spreadsheet i was working on
still getting same group of messages on event log mentioned earlier in the thread
Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.
Norton security failed to start - system cannot find specified path HP Cue device discovery service hung on starting the following boot start or system start drivers failed to load SRTSP SRTSPX
Not sure why Norton pops up, there was a trial version i uninstalled when i purchased pc.
Sometimes pc crashes soon after it's loaded up - would that rule out dust/heat?
downside, don't like the idea of full crash - maybe i got same hard drive issues, will have to back up more regularly
i'll see if i can steam off seal, if not, i'll set up an old pc to trade with and take this one to HN
