I usually run a couple of iress programs, another live feed, hotcopper, excel, i use ie & mozilla, sometimes it crashes when i'm not browsing, might just be entering info onto spreadsheet, when i'm browsing with one window or multiple windows open, pretty random - it's been over a year, almost every day.
I thought it might be the video card at first, someone mentioned faulty RAM to me too but i have no idea really.
I don't play games on it, just run a few live feeds for trading, reading pdf's etc.
I had a look at windows 7 just, via upgrade advisor, seems a hassle - it listed 7 issues for upgrade plus $300.
Would fresh install mean i have to save everything and start again?
