The 1 inch choke is pretty standard for initial flow testing they can go smaller .
The lower the pressure in the shut in the smaller the choke. a larger choke would reduce the flow rate .
I believe the market needed to hear massive flow rate but i know cop and kar really only needed the gas sample and to prove the gas is movable .
Their decision to move on and not rectify the brine issue or perform more work on the well to get higher flow rate tells me they were happy with what the got and to move straight to the heart and get going.
as spending 2 or 3 days to acheive a higher rate is not good business, that money would be better spent at the true production area kr1 .
As for the hole i think they cemented a 4 and a half inch liner .
