Unless you are one of the 500 top polluters you aren't getting taxed yourself.
Even if you're too rich to get compensated for the expected $10/week or so rise in your cost of living - from emitters passing the costs on, you can minimise that to some extent by being more efficient with your energy use (buy energy efficient appliances, turn off the stuff you're not using, install solar panels) - and buy 'greener' instead of 'browner'.
If you object to paying 0.012 more cents for your tim tams, or $3 more for an air fare - then cut out tim tams and take the train :D
