I should clarify, arthurd. By buyers and sellers I was talking the volume being offered as against the volume being wanted. Not number of individuals or institutions. In DVT's case, the volume wanted by buyers exceeded the sellers ability to provide at the price. Yet this had no effect on raising/holding the price. In fact, the opposite occurred. In ASC's case, the seller's volume did outweigh the buyer's demand and the price dropped accordingly. Thought HC members might like to know why this can happen. I'm not a new member. Have been here since the original HC a few years back. Don't contribute too much. Shares are not my strong suit. As in life, you learn more by listening, or in this case reading.
