Theoretically taxpayers should get that back plus interest otherwise we are funding idiots and zombie business models!!!!
So despite that 1.3 billion assistance Qantas had a 2 billion loss supposedly and I think bigger revenue loss.
Think redundancies around 600m at the moment.
Now not a lot has changed so because of Joyces failure to adapt expect more pain including on shareholders because the executives are happy to assume the risk because their loss appears minimal!!
People are yet to understand the likes of Joyce operate currently against the interest of investors, workers, consumers and taxpayers and are simply playing politics and short term game against the viability of everybody else including those in careers
