ok - watso has to admit that he has not watched much abc tv today - but earlier on he switched the tv on, and stan grant (who must be 75% white) was interviewing some indigenous person (who would have been about 60% white blood - maybe more) - anyway watso only watched for about a minute, then switched the tv off - but the guy being interviewed was not happy about Australia day.
watso has west European (non english) heritage and is very happy to celebrate Australia day and the English connection . indeed, watso's forefathers had some very long battles with the poms - but that is all in the past .
the abc gets over $1bn a year in government funding - and they should be promoting cohesion on Australia day
