Watso - the ABC is riddled with "Social Justice Warriors" who every day the sun rises are generating stories and fake news to justify and promote this or that fashionable GreenLeft cause which are components of their ongoing "revolution" they term progress. And they suppress or marginalise debate over issues contrary to those aims. I have seen Stan Grant promoting his upcoming programs and I expect they will be in that class I described.
Last night I watched The Summer Drum with Adam Spencer and he addressed the issue of changing the date of Australia Day. Bob Brown was boots and all in favour of change - Anyway Spencer crossed to a WA indigenous leader in SW WA - Albany I think and he said there was no sentiment for change in indigenous people contacting him over 20 years or so. And despite Spencer manfully badgering him a bit to change his view he stuck to that. Bob Brown was onsong wanting the date changed and before running out of time Spencer flicked to Rebecca Weisser who I think had already expressed her view to keep the historical date intact. She quickly made the new(for the night) point which I can paraphrase as "if we gave in to the greenleft and changed the date of Australia Day - a new greenleft demand for some other change would immediately be generated to take its place". How true is that.
How can we get Ms Weisser into Parliament?
