I can't speak for the coalition because I am not a member of any political party, but I am a climate change skeptic. The sheer money grab in itself makes me extremely skeptical.
Scitty, as I said in my last reply to you on this subject (which you didn't answer) is that perhaps Abbott is representing the large number of Aussies who don't believe our earth is suffering for anything more than normal long term cycles.
Tony Abbott is doing the right thing to wreck (oppose) this whole money grabbing scheme using carbon as an excuse for more revenue or wealth distribution.
I would hope that one political party is sensible enough to realise the large amounts Aussies might have to pay would do very little, if anything, to help the world reduce anything.
A bit like trying to empty the ocean with a teaspoon.
I would hope that the coalition don't have a policy on something that very likely doesn't exist.
It seems that the younger generation are being conned with this as they haven't been around long enough to see that cyclones, floods and earthquakes have happened before and in some instances, much worse.
