    absolutely agree. we can be self sufficient if we really wanted to however the dickheads in Canberra think more of the treaty they have signed than the security of their own people. we had a great opportunity in 2009 when ships were full of crude and cost a pittance to hire or buy - with inventory.

    24 days reserve is a death sentence and having an agreement with the us is no guarantee of supply in an emergency.

    we can supply our own steel, our own expertise (its quite simply and relatively quick to build a crude oil tank) and wa has a lot of spare land plus we still have the refinery (for now at least)
