We always have a fuel shortage.
Experts say one of our big sovereign risks is no oil inventory.
If we can do it cheaper than Singapore and get better prices as a result and benefits citizens and the region including other customers why not do it.
Land in NT cheaper than Singapore. Cheaper in density than Indonesia . Darwin /northern Australia not too far away. Have ships taking iron ore and coal and gas from here that could bring back oil hypothetically cheaper with a bit of multi functionality incorporated into the design.
Why not help ourselves and others??
Why let Singapore screw us over??
