Here's the mathematics of why I am disgusted with these BOZOS.
some napkin calculations:
You can buy a 50Kw solar power station for about $53,000.00 ... that means 50 Aussies can run their electricity for 30 years in their own home...
Take aways:
1) The ordinary domestic consumer DOES NOT NEED OR WANT TO BUY coal fired power!
2) The ordinary domestic consumer DOES NOT NEED OR WANT TO BUY nuclear power!
3) All those transmission lines can be dismantled (and the copper recovered).
4) All those cancer causing oil-filled electrical transformers can be removed.
If you want to make raw steel then... then you lazy ar**holes go find your own electricity or metallurgical coal.
If you want to make raw aluminium then... then you lazy ar**holes go find your own electricity or metallurgical coal.
Don't ask the ordinary domestic consumer to subsidise you.
