Thankfully for the USA, President Trump initiated the Chinese flight restrictions early, whist possible President Joe Biden was calling him a xenophobic for doing so and Pelosi, Cuomo et al were calling for people to got to Chinatown and have parties. Were they to have been in charge at the time then one can likely add at least one zero to all the numbers.

USA would surely not be in the lower half of the top 10 death/m in the world table buy would likely have been number one going away.

Certainly the Dem governors of states that forced nursing homes to take Covid patients have serious questions to answer and possibly President Trump should have sent in the military to prevent tens of thousands of deaths from them doing so but I get the feeling that would have been frowned upon by the media and their unthinking parrots.

It's good that Pfizer have now made the announcement about the vaccine that they held back for political reasons and hopefully it works as planned.

Whomever gets sworn in come January one hopes that both sides of a fractured country can come together with faith in their electoral system.
