The centuries of historical and cultural ties with the UK and the US and our joint security agreements obviously lead to there being zero worry about ever having them as a wartime enemy. China is not yet in that position, but may eventually be in that category.
Personally, I have no more problem with Chinese ownership than any other country. Their money is as good as anybody else's, it should be either Oz ownership only or open to anybody.
