The titles of some of the articles being shared here should have given some an idea of what to expect and why there are no firm numbers eg Shaeffler 'signs historic first european rare earths deal'.

Those with a modicum of critical thinking ability can see VW have already created demand, Shaeffler are either one agreement or purchase of a downstream magnet producer away from creating the first EU RE supply chain outside of China/LYC, and VML is the only upstream provider with the exception of MP and LYC thats even remotely close to production within the timeframe required by the the EU manufacturers.

Selling VML at a loss, particularly now, makes about as much sense as arguing over the price of water when theres only a handful of suppliers and the world is on fire.
