It's mind boggling really. At present people are interpreting Global Warming etc as something that can be resolved by switching to some other form of energy consumption, that supposably ticks all the boxes i.e it's not fossil, it's not harmful or as harmful to the environment. Therefore you can carry on as usually, not really changing your life style, as if everything is peachy.
When it comes to Agricultural commodities, once you inflate the price of one, such as corn, then the rest follow due to nock on effects. And yes, it's probably the most likely sector to hyper inflate, since as yellowcake says "We all got to eat". Prices can theoretically rise to consume a far greater % of your weekly spend, and even price some people down to the raw basics for survival. The pressures in the Agricultural sector are humongous.
