Why is that no one actually explains in clear english why Ford and soon others are failing??? Its not the carbon tax (though would be better without), its not the strong aussie dollar (though also does not help), its not the Ford cars are rubbish (though I wouldn't own one), they are more expensive than they should be but there in lies the problem.....
Its wages are too high, its productivity too low and its unions that have killed the industry. Plain and simple.....None of our pollies (Labor or Liberal) would have the guts to state the facts.....Certainly Labor would not and could not....
Maggie Thatcher had the same problem and she squashed the unions, raised productivity and brought England back from the brink of financial disaster....
