    Hi all

I have been investing more than 15 years. One thing until now, i still dont understand how or why the fund managers lent their stocks to shorters for them to make profit eg the hedge fund borrowed stocks sold at around 30cents to push share price down and bought back 20 cents and then return stocks to fund managers? Are they dumbed? Is it why the fund manager like PTM PPT MFG IFL are going down hill because their portfolios loosing value? please explain
