that is a valid point Dave.... privilege is the word fro it alright. its what enables a power relationship with the rest. so them come to be seen as inferior and a valid target for bullying. abuse. and if the other is female, no limits to objectification.
@chappy58 Albanese has nothing to do with this. I get it that private schools are a status thing, like private hospitals. I don't know much at all about private schools, but I know enough about hospitals. they too function on privilege.... not the patients but the staff. the level of care is far riskier in private hospitals.
